I've got one, but not enough rounds through to really tell. I used to have a P3AT, but it belongs to my son-in-law now. Never had a problem with it, and neither has he.

I have one and have I'd say 500 rounds threw it including about 20+p 115gr. It has been deciently reliable with great customer service. First after about 200 rounds the mag catch starting wearing, happens quite a bit, they are now making metal mag catches... well email kel tec and they sent me one in about 3 days along with detailed description. When installing that, not fallowing instructions haha I broke the hammer spring, they sent me one in about 3 days again no questions asked. No problems since then. They newer ones are fine. You can read ALOT about them at:

http://www.ktog.org/cgi-bin/yabb2/Ya...oard=newpistol

They are snappy with the +p ammo, other then that a good shooting gun, not ment to throw thousands of rounds down range, but great to carry. I use gold dot short barrel 115gr for carry and have don humane iwb. cant tell its there.

I've seen 2 of them break in that spot, myself. 1 on its first box of ammo.

I'd pass on them.

The Only trouble I've had with mine was a couple of Nose Dives in the Magazine, I really think this is due to me Limpwristing it when shooting, Only cause it dosen't seem to happen if I focus on my hold when shooting it. I wouldn't fault Kel-Tec for that as Limpwristing is common to All polymer framed guns.

I also have a P3AT that's been Great with Zero problems and a P11 I bought from a PFOA member with Zero problems. All in All I'm pretty pleased with them and I understand their Customer Service is above and beyond others.

It'd be helpful if folks posted their aprox round counts through these guns....In my experience, they don't seem to last as long as others.
