Some people on here have seen a few failures with the PF-9 due to known and resolved problems and now seem to have a personal vendetta against the little thing (IMO).
It seems to me that feedback (especially as of late) is almost always positive; this is definitely confirmed by the people posting here. If you want a full history of the pistol (i.e. all known problems and resolutions), go here: http://www.ktog.org/cgi-bin/yabb2/Ya...num=1173985819 I've been doing a ton of research on this gun because I want to carry something smaller than my full-size M&P9. The results of my research: as soon as I find one with a "good" serial number for a good price, I'll be buying it.

I have a pf-9 that I have put about 300 rounds through it. There were issues with the early production models, but they seem to have worked most of them out.

I have a P32 with about 500 rounds through it over a 5 year period. No Problems.
All of the tiny Kel-Tecs had trigger bar problems at one point or another. Kel Tec seems to have worked the bugs out on all models at this point. One thing most dont think about is the design and intended use of the gun. They are very small and light. they take a beating by simply firing them. All of the internal parts are stamped pot metal crammed into a package barely capable of holding them. The mag release is tiny, the sights are almost nothing, most models do not have a slide stop or slide hold open feature. The guns were not designed for 100 rounds per week range trips or tactical training. They were designed for up close and personal last ditch defense weapons when all other options ( including a primary handgun) have failed. I shoot my Kel-Tec to check for function, and to burn up older ammo. I then throw it into my front pocket and hope that I never need to use it. When it wears out, I will throw it away like a Bic lighter. The P32, P3AT and PF9 are all decent defensive guns if used as intended. They are NOT tactical, duty or military handguns and should not be treated as such. If you want a range, defensive poly gun....look at a Glock, XD, M&P and so on.
