Speedloaders.
The speed strips are easier to carry but slower.

Speed loaders HKS and Safariland, but I like Safariland better.

My preference is a second gun. Usually carry a Speed Strip reload for the revolver because it is more convenient to carry than a speed loader. I have enough bulges as it is.

speedloaders - I use a pocket holster and keep 1 in the same pocket (strong side) as the 642

CCW: Bianchi speed strips; HD, car stash, hiking, hunting: Safariland Comp I speedloaders; I have several pairs of Bianchi speed strips; 2 pairs for CCW & the older ones are used for practice since they have 'loosened' up a bit

Speedstrips would be noticed less, so people typically carry them when CCing. Speedloaders when the bulk is not a factor. I have both HKS (for the 44 Redhawk) and both HKS and Safariland for the GP100. If you think those are bulky, take a look at Safariland Comp 3's (used in PPC competition).

. The question I'm posing for the veteran wheelgun shooters is in a purely tactical sense do you prefer speedloaders or Speed strips? I have both, and prefer the Bianchi speed strips due to the flat profile for CCW despite the HKS speedloaders being a faster 'tac reload.' I'll never be Jerry Miculek with either, and like my Gunny used to say "If you get through your first mag and your still taking fire you're pretty much f**ked." but I want to hear members comments on both. Thanks in advance.
