I seemed to upset a member with that statment. However living here in the city of Chicago that is a safer response than telling what and how many guns you own. The Mayor of Chicago and the Govener of Illionis don't trust citizens with fire arms.

I found myself typing a list of the firearms I own and stopped myself because I don't know who reads this forum from Chicago. By Law I am forced to keep my Handgun collection at my in-laws or in a safe depsit box and I even store some at a shooting range out side of the city. Also for my AR and Mini 14 out of the county. Even though I take great measures to abide by the laws sometimes I have to bring them in the city to clean them before placing them back in storage. I am lucky enough to live within 8 miles the city and county line.

I envy people who live in states without these types of restrctions and can enjoy all of your Rights as they are written. Again I am sorry to have upset anyone with my sarcastic remark but it was not aimed at you. The Supreme Court Ruling so far has not been followed by my city.

I caught a Burglar in my basement on 4/08 with my wife sleeping in the bedroom and the burglar said he would tell the responding LEO that I caught him with a handgun. I called a LEO friend of mine at 1:30am and he said they would arrest me too and I would have to fight it out in court. He then said just let him go. Which I did and it made me SICK! My stomach was in knots for a few days over this. So you folks have the right to protect yours and your loved ones. WE DON'T.

Sorry for ranting but it could have been worse. I know, I know, Move!

Screw that, RUN!! Exit Stage Left even.

Or be the one that challenges the "Law" and makes Chicago a Better and Safer place for all...except the Crimminals, Chances are, He'll be back and it might not turn out so good next time, I can't imagine a Jury of your peers convicting you for protecting your family from harm, unless of course it was made up of NObama supporters.

Good Luck
