Firestar M45
Still have it and plan to keep it.
I've seen several posts from others who had a Firestar of any type and most wish they had kept it.
When I get a haircut and a real job I will get something else but will keep this one.

My first was the HK USP .40cal. I got it because, being a lefty, I had trouble working the Glock slide release with my index finger. I also got it because the decocker could be converted for left hand use.

I later bought the same variant in the .45cal.

Only later when I used the G17 as a duty gun, did I become a Glock convert.
I still like the HK's, but it's more convenient and simpler to have a off-duty gun that's compatible with my duty gun.

Both HK's have been since sold/traded. The .40cal got traded for a G26. The .45cal was put on consignment and I used the money toward an AR15.

My first was a Glock 30 .45 with night sights...and I love it! I still have it (just got it and my LTCF at the beginning of the summer, so no major feat...hahaha) and really love the feel of a Glock.

I plan on having it for many many years to come...

My first was a G23. Sold it.

A few years after first buying the G23, I started to accumulate other handguns in 9mm but still carried and practiced with the G23 (40S&W).

Watching ammo prices of 40S&W compared to 9mm I noticed that 40S&W was getting prohibitive to practice with on my budget. Then I finally decided to consolidate to only one handgun ammo and sold the G23, and my 40S&W ammo stash. Then I picked up a nice used 2nd generation G19 as my daily carry and bought a whole heck of allot of 9mm ammo.
