An early model 625. Still my favorite. That reminds me, I need to shoot it soon. Been too long.

Smith & Wesson MP .45 I always wanted a semi-auto after shooting my dads revolvers over the years. After winning a shotgun on a gun raffle ticket I traded it in towards my MP .45 and don't regret it at all. I love that gun and its a blast to shoot. Every time we go to the range we put a couple boxs through it.

A NIB Colt Series 70 .45 acp purchased from money I earned mowing lawns all summer. My older brother filed out the paperwork for me because I was only 16 at the time. Purchased for around $190.00 from Edelman's in Montgomeryville in 1979. Still have it though I threw away the box long ago. Should have started out with a .22LR but I had to start big. To afford to shoot the pistol, I learned to handload. Funny a 16 year old with a .45 and couple hundred rounds of ammo and I never got into trouble.

Ruger Mark II with a 6" barrel. Paid $52 for it in 1972. Shot it for 5 years and sold it. Now they are around $300. I wish I still had it.

When I was 16 my dad got me a taurus PT92AF (with money I had saved). It was later sold to buy a new rifle.
The first handgun I ever bought was on my 21st birthday, and the pistol was a pre-owed SIG 220. |
