Ruger P94 that my dad bought me for my 21st birthday. Still have it, and even though the trigger sucks and it's not the tightest or highest quality, I like it a lot. I'm pretty good with it, and will never get rid of it because of the sentimental value. Actually, i don't think I will ever sell any gun.
Interestingly enough, a friend of mine was badmouthing these guns all the time, and i told him i didn't have any problems with it. He was telling me it's a POS and all that, then we went to the range, and i shot better with it than he did with his 1911 that was all tricked out. If you know the gun and practice with it a lot, it shoots just fine. |

My first handgun was a two shot .22 derringer that I got while I was in high-school. Those were the days when you could pick them up at certain gas stations or hardware stores.
And no, I don't have it anymore. |

I noticed, when reading the replies from the above posting, you can 'kinda' guess the age of the person by his first handgun.

(Sometime around 2002?) Taurus PT140 - After 2 (unsuccessful) trips back to the factory for warranty work in the first month, I realized I had a lemon and traded it toward a Glock 27. Still have the G27, but not my main carry piece anymore. Anybody wanna buy it? I'm eliminating .40 from my collection.
