I have a Jericho 941 which is basically a Baby Eagle in 9mm and a conversion kit for .41AE. I love the thing. Fits my hands great and shoots better than I can.

Mabey thats the problem, I just havent shot the thing enough .I have 4 pistols including two 9mm and shot those pretty good rite off the bat along side the 45. I was accurate with the 9mms but not the 45. Mabey the problem is me.I will shoot the gun some more and try some diffrent grip stye or stance to compensate for the weight of the various ones i shoot, I guess that shooting a polymer gun for a wile and then going to a all steel brick could affect accuracy. Thanks for the tips guys

I have an older IMI Baby Eagle in 9mm....I love this gun. Sure, it's heavy but it's a great gun. Completely reliable (has never had any kind of failure on me), will feed any ammo I run through it, and for a combat type of pistol, it's quite accurate. Don't give up on your .45 so easily...give it some time and practice like others have suggested.

Maybe this will help you figure out what you're doing wrong and help correct it.

What were the factors that made you buy it in the first place? What I mean is, does the grip seem to fit, or is this thing uncomfortable for you? Do you have experience with this caliber beyond this gun?

Talking Re: Desert Eagle 45

Yeah the grip feels fine even better than my two 9mms. I have big hands (not braging) but it seems to fit my hand best. That was the selling point for me.Thats why I went with the bigger gun. That and I thought it looked like a bad ass gun. It just seemed that when i was shopping for another pistol I wanted a gun that when i gripped it the floorplate was beyond my pinki and not resting rite on it. ps.thanks for the targets Agent Smith Ill givem a shot

Yes , i have one , bought it about 6 months ago , i have always wanted a DE, excellent Gun, Made in Israel and built very tightly it does require about 50 to 100 rounds to break it in . Itss a pleasure to shoot a big heavy all steel gun again unlike those plastic guns that stings your hand everytime you shoot them.

The DE is a copy of the CZ design with the frame in slide rail set up needs to be broken in .

Excellent Gun , they do shoot high because ogf the high rear sights and low front sight, play around with the sighting, aim at the six o clock and you should be in the bullseye.

BTW , DE in .45 is very rare not much of them made.

Also excellent recoil absorbtion makes the .45 feels like a nine mm. Its not for concealed carry , its a service Pistol.

My brother-in-law had asked me the same question and i really could not answer it because i don't know much about the baby eagle. All i could do was compare it to a .50 cal desert eagle, which I have seen in action and let me tell you it was one of the worst performances of a firearm I had ever seen. We were having a shooting competition at my gun club and a guy brought this to the match ( I'm guessing just for kicks). He could not get off two shots in a row without the gun jamming, the magazine even fell out a few times as he went to fire. All in all, you would most likely be better off just carrying around a hand full of .50 cal rounds and throwing them, they are like AA batteries. not to mention the guy paid $2600 for it. oouuch...
