Default Re: Kahr PM9

I replaced a Kel Tec .380 with a PM9. The Kahr shoots about as well as my G26, but the Kahr actually fits in my pocket, without looking like a pistol in my pocket. I've heard about some problems with the PM9, but I've had no trouble with mine, knock on wood. The Kahr is my "always gun," which I can't get any of the Glocks to be.

I wouldn't shoot it all day, but I don't find it horribly uncomfortable to shoot. I think AGrip makes stick-on rubber grips for the pistol.

The recoil springs have been changed. I think they were silver, and now are black and the non-captive spring is longer. I e-mailed the company, and they sent me a new recoil spring assembly, no charge.

If you're planning on pocket carry, the PM-9 would be a good choice. However, if you're going to carry on your hip (IWB or, as I do, OWB), the MK-9 is a better choice.
Kahr's have really gone up in price since I bought mine...
