Default New Ruger LCP 380

I think that Ruger is finally coming out with a gun that I will have to buy. It is a pocket 380 that looks a lot like the Kel-Tec PF-9 but it will be a locked breech instead of a blowback. It really looks nice in the videos.

i agree that it looks nice
but think its a direct copy of the keltec p3at but with a nicer build, better grip area, and better finish...
should be a hot seller!

Has anyone fondled an LCP yet? I see them for sale now on some of the gun auction sites. They haven't hit the stores here yet.

Yes, it felt VERY slick in the hand....kinda like a "high-buff" version of the P3AT....didn't get to shoot one yet, but I think it will be very difficult to hold onto without some after-market checkering or rubber sleeve.

yes, it is a little hard in the hand, meaning only your first two fingers fit on the grip so the pinky finger kinda hangs which for me makes it a little uncomfortable, but hell, for a "throw it in your pocket" easy to carry piece, I will probably eventually get one for VERY concealable purposes.

Feels good tho, like it will be nice to shoot

The kel-tec is a locked breech design. It looks like ruger pretty much copied the kel-tec. I'd like to buy one, as I've been considering getting a p3at. it all depends if i can find one when the tax money comes. If I can find one easily i'll get the ruger. If nobody has them in stock i'm getting the p3at.

either way i'll have me a pocket gun.

You think that Ruger has a winner with this gun?

The bigest bitch people have with kel-tec is the fit and finish.

The design is excelent. Cutting edge.

If ruger makes a gun with this great design, but does it with a little more style they have a definate winner.

and if they manage to keep the price pretty close they'll give kel-tec a run for their money. Alot of people would pay a little more for a "refined" kel-tec.

Haven't shot one yet, only fingerbanged one.....but from those I've spoken with who have shot it...said it "felt much better" than the P3AT while shooting it.

I'd buy it over a P3AT if I were in the market for something like this.

From what I saw, Ruger is definitely keeping it close in price, its I think in the low $300's so that should be within earshot of what the P3A-T is priced at.
