So it sounds like dealers now have these in stock? Are there any accessories out yet? I wonder if you can attach a belt clip to the LCP??

Question:
Looks 90% like a P3AT, the grip/frame is different and a few other features. I wonder if they had to pay Kel-Tec any licensing fees to George Kelgren (owner and engineer of Kel Tec, hence the Kel). I am wondering if he got any $$ licensing or is it unique enough of a design to stand on its own. Just curious.

They had one of these LCPs left at the Firing Line in Philadelphia yesterday. Guy behind the counter said he was selling them for 295$ a piece and getting more in next week.

Ace in Washington PA says they sold out but are taking pre-orders at $289 and should have more in a few weeks.

It appears as the Ruger LCP will accept the belt clip from the Kel-Tec.

Has anyone found a good IWB Holster for the LCP? I have seen some nylon ones on ebay but what about something a bit higher quality/better trigger cover & hold on the gun?

The Vice President of Ruger has a Covert Carrier small sleeve on his personal LCP

Smile Re: New Ruger LCP 380

Just picked on up on Thursday -

First thing first- This may look like a kel-tec, but the quality is 100 times better. The Ruger has a much improved extractor and all of the springs in the gun are thicker, and of higher quality. I had a Kel-tec P32 and it was the worst gun I ever owner ( I have 56 right now). The Kel Tech would fail to extract on a regular basis, and when you’d pull the trigger, sometimes the hammer wouldn’t fall. I sent it back to Kel Tech and got a refund.
But the Ruger is awesome, got it home, cleaned and lubricated it with MiliTech and fired 300 rounds of Winchester white box. This pistol worked 100% No problems what so ever. The trigger pull was constant and smooth, and the recoil was manageable. I was able to shoot a paper plate sized target and get a 3-5 inch group at 25 yards. This pistol is surprisingly accurate, and you can empty the mag in a hurry if needed. The gun was very very dirty after 300 rounds, but it still worked perfectly. I plan on shooting another 300 round in the gun to break it in as soon as I can afford it ( 100 Rounds = $30. 00) I have been carrying this gun on duty in my pocket very comfortably and it conceals very well. If you want a great backup gun or a concealed carry gun, this is the one for you. Keep it clean, lubricated and it’ll go bang every time.

And remember, the majority of Police Officers are Pro Gun, Pro Constitution and All about protecting your freedoms and rights. The Liberals are great at finding some appointed desk jockey to tell you otherwise. Go out and buy this great American made gun, for your safety and if for no other reason, just to tick off a Liberal !
