Default 9mm 1911?
I'm looking for a 9mm 1911. Can anyone point me in the direction of some? It will be a range gun only, not for carry or HD. I cancelled my order for a Para Carry 9 because I want a 1911 chambered in 1911 that's closer to a full size 1911.

Sppringfields make a really nice gun, but my choice would be a STI Trojan. STI has a lot of experience making 1911's in different calibers. Either would do fine.

Taurus will also be bringing out an 1911 in 9mm for a very attractive price soon.

It's been rumored sometime this year, but it's hard to say.

Because I like to shoot a lot and 9mm ammo is half the price of .45 ACP.
