Giving the PT92 another chance
I listed a PT92AFS as my choice in the "What's your worst" thread a while back. I bought one new and had lots of problems with it. Someone responded with "was my first...never a problem", etc.
Long story short I was in Gander MTN and they had a PT92AR for $235 used and it looked brand new. Came with original box, too. If it had been fired more then 500 times I would be shocked. Well I figured for $235 I couldn't lose so I grabbed it. Put 100 rounds through it Monday and it was flawless. I couldnt get the stainless one I bought new to shoot a full mag without screwing up, but this one seems to have been made on Wednesday. For the price I am a happy camper. [edit] I still can't believe someone dumped thisd gun for what... about $165?!?!?!

i was under impression that PT92 is functionally par or better then original.
Keep us updated as I would surely pick one up for that price myself. Oh wait - They do come in Nickel finish don't they?.....hummmm.....
