Default Re: para p16-40

I agree with BM that yo ubetter know your stuff for a light trigger.

But...once you do, they are a nice advantage for a range gun (I'm done at 3lbs with my carry gun). I've shot several 1.5lb 1911's that were perfectly safe, but you are gong to pay a pro to do that job....usually $200+. My hunting rifle wears a 16 ounce trigger....but it's a Jewell and drop safe at that weight.

So.....I won't be hypocritical and say it's a bad idea, but having thousands of rounds through the gun and working down slowly is best.

i'm not looking for a 1.5lbs trigger or anything like that, but i'd like to have a crisp 3lbs or so.. i've shot a 1.5lbs it was def to light for comfort but the 2.5-3lbs i've shot where perfect IMO

So drop in a Brazos Custom Pro trigger group and be done with it.

For my P16 I bought the Tuned Trigger Group, BCG - Pro Series from Brazos Custom Gun Store online. Works great!
