Pa. state representative being deployed to Iraq

DILLSBURG, Pa. - A Pennsylvania state lawmaker is making plans to serve with his Army National Guard unit in Iraq next year.
Rep. Scott Perry, a Republican whose district includes parts of York and Cumberland Counties, is part of a unit scheduled to go to Oklahoma in January and Iraq in April.

Perry, 46, is a lieutenant colonel and a battalion commander in the Guard. He says his legislative staff will handle day-to-day operations in his absence.

Perry is expected to be gone for about a year. He is serving his first term in the House and is running unopposed for reelection in November

Silly rabbit. Doesn't he know Republicans don't serve in war zones? He is going to RUIN the left's claims that Republicans only send the lower privlaged and uneducated to war.

Senator John Pippy won a up grade from Rep to Senator while he was deployed overseas in the national guard.

FYI when John Pippy first ran for Rep no one thought he could win, his seat was always held by democrats for something like 160 years.

FOAC volunteers helped make the difference to first get the very Pro Gun Senator Pippy elected along with upgrades.

In the 2008 election FOAC and with the donations from gun owners around the state WE are going to replace the extreme anti-gun politician Rep Levdansky with Pro-Gun Monica Douglas in the 39 district…….
