Why would you stay with Fiber Optics. Pros and cons please. I'm still learning.

I'm not sure of his reasoning, but I do have my own reasoning. I've had TFOs on my Glocks for years and I like them a lot. I became interested in SureSights before they began manufacturing their standard sights, but I was told that they'd someday be manufacturing tritium sights. I decided to wait. They will supposedly be shipping tritium sights starting in August. I do want to get a set to test on my own. First, I plan on warming up my Glocks with the TFOs on them and using a timer to time some drills. Then I plan on taking the TFOs off one of the Glocks and replacing it with the SureSight tritiums, and again conducting the same drills with a timer to see which sights are faster.

The only reason I see myself staying with the TFOs is that the SureSights may not be as bright in bright light as the TFOs, when tritium sights are impossible to see. This is the reason I got the TFOs in the first place. The only way for me to assess this is to test the sights under different lighting conditions.

I hope this helps.

They look like they work and well, but they're pretty hideous. That and I can't imagine they are easy to unholster in a critical time of need.

If you check out the pic's on this page you will see that the sight does not come close to rubbing the holster. I have not found a holster our sight will not fit it. Thanks for the interest, the new version of the sights will be shipping soon!

They are backed up until early August anyway.

Do you have any forecast for adding any other guns to SureSight lineup?
