Question CZ 452 Scope?

Any sugestions on a scope for my new CZ452 would be greatly appreciated. I want to spend just enough to do the job well but not go overboard on price.

Thanks in advance!

.22's don't beat up scopes, but you want something with an adjustable objective since you will often shoot under 50 yards.

I'd prefer a Nikon, but I wouldn't hide in shame if I used a BSA on a .22.

Lycanthorpe is almost always right on equipment advise. I've been shooting for 55 years and in this group for 2 years and never seen him give bad advise.

Thanks Montell......

I guess I should have added that my CZ wears a 3x9 Bushnell with target knobs and adjustable objective. It's the perfect squirrel rifle.

Thanks to both Lycanthrope and Montell...I'm totally new to the world of .22's
and to this site and I'm very grateful. This is the 3rd time Lycanthrope has helped me out in my brief stint...3 for 3!

Try the BSA "Platinum" series. I have one on my 10/22 for 10,000 rounds, works well, really well.

Best regards,
chalmitch

To add to the advice I have a CZ 452 2E with a 16" threaded barrel that's still waiting a suppressor and it wears a set of leupold rings and a Bushnell 4x32 sportsview scope. It came of a .30-30 I got on trade a while back and works great. Nice duplex reticle. It's an older model but you could find something comparable for cheap. 4x is perfect for a .22lr!
