I got my hands on a night vision set up Im mounting on my AR, I need to get shorter scope rings so its even with the NV but even the way it is it works, just thought id share, now all the little critters around here better watch out once I get everything set up.

How well...is it going to work with your scope? How good can you see the reticle?

it works great I can see clear as day at night with it on there, I just need to mount the scope diffrent so I can sight it in, I actully have another scope coming and I have a couple diffrent mounts here, I just dont want to move the settings on that scope since I have it dead on right now.

I ran out and took a couple of pics, its 9:30 PM here so its as dark as it gets here, its really hard trying to take a pic of a scope in the dark LOL but heres a shot I got of it that dont look to bad.

Nice. Is a setup like that still useable at all during daylight? Can you just take the NV part off the rail during the day and replace it at night, without having to adjust the zero on the scope?

Alright, so I have to know, you really put a $4000 NV that will probably never be used behind a $100 BSA scope that's used every time you fire the rifle?????

I'm just baffled by this.

you can say what ever you want about my $100 scope it does what I need it to do, I can get 1 inch groups at 100 yards thats all the more I need, as for the $4000 NV I didnt pay a thing for it
