I did some shooting at the range yesterday. Here's my best 2 at 50 yards from my Anschutz target rifle. I was shooting Federal Champion Target (blue box) ammo.

Here are a few of mine today with my Marlin 925 at 50 yards off a bipod, no rear rest. I can’t wait for my CZ to come in, just for comparison.

Here is a target and gun used from a couple of years back

The gun I built up from a Romy G kit.
Sandbags were used and the sights have been adjusted slightly since.

Thought I'd throw something different into the mix. (smile)

here's two groups on one paper.
the larger group is three shots.
the tighter four.
it's from a .50 cal muzzloader i built.
iirc it was at 50yds off hand.
the first 3 were a .495 ball in an .015 patch, teh second set same ball in an .020 rag.

Took the USP .45 out for a 13 round walk then drew my BUG .380 for another 14. This is at 15yds, medium speed fire.

I shot this last weekend. It's really no big deal, I'm only a little above average shooter. Target was an SR at 200 yards. I shot 20 rounds (my reloads), loading one round at a time, in under 20 minutes, through my 20" AR from the prone position (unsupported) except for my elbows and sling, using iron sights. I only dropped 6 points out of 200. Not sure where that "8" and 4 "9"s came from, guess it was a lapse in concentration For those of you unfamiliar with an SR target, the "X" ring is 3 inches, the "10" is about 7 inches, and the "9" ring is close to 13 inches in diameter. Give me another year of practice, and I'll put them all in the "x" (hopefully).

Well, I didn't know if I wanted to post this or not, but I guess I will. This is not from the new rifle that I'm building, but I do hope that it shoots this good. Both groups are from a 30/30 bench rifle using flat based bullets, I don't remember the weight. All the brass and bullets were sorted by weight, neck turned brass, and very tight run out. This is at 100 yards, 5 shot groups, 5-7 mph wind (it was a nice day here). This first group, I had 2 big arizona sweet teas while I was driving, to try to wake up and just because I was thirsty. It was too much, and the first group wasn't all that good. The very outside edge to edge of the black square is 1" for reference.

This is a much better group, I wish I hadn't thrown the flier, but it was still a good group. Same rifle, different time that I was shooting it, 30/30 BR. I'll post one pic without the measurements, and the second pic has what it all measured at. Again, this is a 5 shot group.

P.S. I do know that it's not "centered" For those that don't know, when you're shooting for groups, you hold the same point even if it's not on bullseye. You can always adjust later to be on zero, but once you get one downrange, you stick with it and keep your hold.
