well so far ive threaded the barrel and made the can here are pics of the can

Cool. When you form 1 a can do you need to supply the batfe with a print detailing how it is going to be built---internals and all?

no there will be an adapter that will thread onto the barrel and that will thread to the core. the adapter and core will clamp onto those shoulders. that way i can index the can anywhere i want. i'm going to mount a mini red dot on the can.

the can is approximately 6 15/32 i wanted it to be 6 1/2 but i screwed up after putting hours into it so i said screw it it will work. it is 1 3/4 od and 1.550 id 1/10 wall thickness.

Wow .100". With the design you are using you could of gotten away with .035" thick Al. Even if wou were going to thread the tube you only needed .065" wall Aluminum

Just curious but why didn't you just order the correct size tubing, instead of turning and boring what you used.
