I don't want to burst your bubble but Vahan (autoweapons) is the most expensive c3 dealer in the area. I bought a gemtech can from him a while back (before i knew better) and paid nearly $100 over msrp for the can. That being said, he is a good guy to deal with if you don't mind his prices.

As some have said before, his prices for c3 items are futureistc. Meaning that in 5-10 years from now they will be selling for what he is asking now. Again, he has a lot of nice stuff and is good to deal with if you can swallow his mark up.

What swr can are you going with? I have a trident 9 and like it alot.

Good luck.

Not to worry...my bubble is still intact. It is possible Vahan has changed.

I previously purchased from him an integrated Gemtech Oasis suppressor for my Ruger Mark III and his price matched those at ImpactGuns and GunsAmerica (MSRP).

I've ordered the SWR Trident-9 and the HEMS-2 from him and his prices matched those of Henry at Smith Arms (recommended in earlier posts).

Thanks for the advise though.

He may be more expensive but you get what you pay for. I just picked up a Serbu Super Shorty today. He follows through all the way. I have purchased all of my class 3 through him and never had a problem. And he is a super nice guy to deal with.

Guys, i never said he wasn't a good guy to deal with. But his prices are high. I am not willing to pay those prices when other dealers in the area offer the same service at a lower cost. Examples--he is selling colt le6933's for $2395. When i bought mine from another dealer, i paid $1395. Is his service worth 1K? For me, it is not. He is also asking $4895 for mac-10's that normaly go for $3500 and he wants $8195 for uzi's that are going for $7200 from every other dealer. Again, i just wont pay 1k more for any of those items. I don't care how good his service is.

technosage--glad to hear his price for the swr cans was in line with others. You will love the trident 9. I use mine on my sbr'd 9mm ar and it is nice and quiet. I don't know anything about the hems-2 but i'm sure it will be a good can--swr makes good stuff.

One more thing about Henry. I think he helped confuse two of us about ATF paperwork in the past few months. I can only speak for myself, but I don't think it was entirely his fault. If you have questions or confusion about the paperwork, I would ask Henry first and then ask here second. Sending it out a day later is a lot better than having the ATF send it back to you without approval weeks or months later.

But if that's the only problem I have (and it was largely my fault), I'm going straight back to Henry for my next purchase.

BTW - if you are new to this, you have to send ATF both copies of your paperwork. So make a photocopy when you get home before you send it. ATF will send you at least one copy back with your approval/rejection, but you'll want to have something in your file in the meantime.

I would drive 4 hours to deal with Dave Wells in Lenox, PA who can actually boast a manufacturer's license so driving 1 1/2 hours is like a walk in the park if the guy's worth all the recommendations I'm hearing about him.

I live in Bucks but my 'engineer' lives in the wilderness.

Dropped off my paperwork for the SWR Trident-9 and HEMS-2 with Vahan this morning. I had a quick chat with him and found out that after my post on http://www.silencerresearch.com/ where I mentioned that Vahan had issues with SWR, the owner of SWR called him the next day to find out what was going on.
To make a long story short, Vahan is now a dealer of the full line of SWR suppressors. He said he is also stocking up on KAC suppressors.

Just got hold of the paperwork and these items today. I have LCD's on the HEMS-2 for both the HK and Sig Tacticals so can't wait to try it on both. Just waiting now on delivery of the Bar-Sto tb for the Glock G17 so I can take the Trident along as well.
