Default USP45 Compact Tactical suppressor

I am looking for a good suppressor for this new purchase and hear AAC has come out with the Blackbox that supposedly can be dryfired without hearing protection (someone posted that even with the KAC can you still need hearing protection).

Does anyone own or personally heard one in action? If not available what is the next best suppressor for this pistol?

AAC dropped any thought of future production of ther black box.

The KAC can will meter hearing safe (on average) but only on the MK23

currently no other can meters hearing safe dry

Also note that hearing safe is defined as under 140db so 139.9 is technically hearing safe but is still loud. (a 10/22 w/ HV ammo is right around 140db)

Both the AAC Evo 45 and SWR H.E.M.S would be good choices they are much cheaper than the KAC can and will not take a full year to get.

CCF got out of the suppressor business as of 12/31/2007. (they will warranty their current stock though)

They are the makers of the aftermarket glock aluminum "race" frames and that is what they are puting all their effoft into.

Wink Re: USP45 Compact Tactical suppressor

Hi UNGAWA, yes there is a non-tactical version of the USP45 compact:
http://www.hkpro.com/uspc.htm

Mtdew, thanks for validating my inclination towards the 2 suppressors you mentioned and for exactly the reasons you stated!

Here's a link to various suppressor manufacturer's that I found:
http://www.fortliberty.org/gun-acces...pressors.shtml

The above link however was missing KAC so here's their link:
http://www.knightarmco.com/

I am still open to feedback and/or personal experiences from anyone with .45 caliber suppressors.

Although I don't own the AAC EVO 45 I do own the EVO 9. It is a great can and the EVO 45 is the same basic design. Like was stated earlier there are really no hearing safe dry cans on the market right now for the 45acp. I have read from many people that wet the EVO 45 is very nice to shoot. If you would like to read up on different cans might I suggest checking out :http://www.silencertalk.com/

There is a ton of information on that site and it is where I go to read up on items I am interested in.
