Sent out my form 4 last week for a Gemtec Viper. My last form 4 took 5 weeks start to finish and that was in Feb of this year.

Got the stamps!

Transfer was to an LLC. It was the first transfer for the LLC.

Time to approval from check cashed: 8 weeks
Time to receive stamps in the mail from date application mailed: 10 weeks

There was an issue with the paperwork but I don't think it affected the timeline. We told the examiner the first week. They called us once it was in the system, while the application was still in Georgia. Sent revised paperwork directly to examiner and they probably received the revised paperwork before the bad paperwork.

Thanks to everyone who helped! Jaybell, PAPatriot, Dan, and all the lawyers on this board come to mind, including two lawyers that took the time to speak with me offline. We have the best people here!

Called Monday to check on my F4 and F1..

My F4 went pending on Monday, exactly 4 weeks after mailing. My F1 wasn't in the system.. he said typically 4-6 weeks on the F1s.

Not the nicest guy in the world which was the total opposite of my last call where the woman was very friendly and polite. Guess it depends on the day.

Will post back when updates happen.

I musta gotten the lady you speak of, I couldn't believe someone who talks to probably 100+ gun nuts a day looking/bitching about the status of their forms was so friendly.

It must have been her. I mean she was REALLY nice.. we were laughing and joking. She was really a pleasure to speak to. The guy I had today sounded like he didn't even want to be alive.

Here is an example of just one part of our conversation:

Him: "What is the serial number on the form?"

Me: "AA012345678"

<5 second SILENCE>

Him: "Is that it?" <--- not a great tone either

Me: "I'm sorry .. I don't understand."

Him: "Is that the entire serial number?"

Me: "Yes, I'm sorry .. I didn't indicate I was finished speaking other than that I stopped speaking"

Him: "No problem"

Hoping my form didn't find it's way to the bottom of the pile. He was definitely cranky though.
