Front rail still needs duracoated black, and a suppressor wouldn't be a bad addition along with some BUIS. But its together and ready to fire.

Yes congrats! You are about 2 weeks ahead of me. My first F4 took exactly 8 weeks to the day as well... strange coincidence!

Now put some ice on your wallet because the addiction has just started. Might
want to order up some NFA Methadone.

Hoping mine stay on track. My F4 went pending on the 19th of May but my F1 still has no status

Hi all,
Here's some hope for Form 4 individual transfers:

Gemtech Outback II
April 14-Forms arrive in GA
June 6-Picked up suppressor from dealer
Examiners- Sandra Snook/Rob Howard

I was quite suprised to hear from my dealer this morning. I thought, with all the talk about low manpower at ATF, that I wouldn't see it until at least the end of June. 53 days to my dealer. Don't know if it matters, but I didn't send a check (money order). My last transfer, over two years ago for an integrally suppressed Ruger 77/44 took only 59 days.
I didn't even get a chance to get a 10/22 barrel threaded. Thought I had plenty of time.

Would that be Henry?

Hazleton, Gemtech, Sandra and Rob, wild guess.

Dealers name is Tom Sipos out of Weatherly. He doesn't have much for class III, but still a nice little shop and actually contemplating not selling 'em anymore. More hunting stuff more than anything.

I mailed out the Form 1 this afternoon. Yahoo!!!!!!

This is my first NFA submission, and I benefited greatly from ithinkimamedic's great walkthrough sticky and great advice on local signatures and fingerprinting from Stack. They made the whole process of compiling and preparing the paperwork so much easier.

Thanks!!

I'll post my ATF response times and some pics of the SBR when everything is completed.

update,

Form 4 signed for on May 9th, check finally cashed and went pending as of today 6-18-08. My last form 4 start to finish took only a month and a week. According to the NFA there is a very large volume of form 4s coming in and the process is slowing down a little.
