Default Dangerous Forum....

Well, after lurking around the NFA forum for a few months it finally got the best of me. I sold off some of my gold and silver to fund my first NFA purchase.... and I blame you guys!! Actually - would like to thank you all for inspiring me to do what I knew I wanted to do but never got around to doing

Not sure what I'm going to do yet but I ordered a threaded barrel for one of my pistols today and will probably start slow with a can for it and then plunk down the big bucks once I get one purchase under my belt. Hopefully I won't run into any problems and yes - I can be patient when I need to be.

Anyway - thanks to all of you for your inspiring posts. I think I'm hooked already and I don't even own one item ..

Now, how to hide it all from the wife..... that's the fun part.

Thanks guys!! Thought I'd say hi and thanks.

Hehehe......hide it from the Wife. She used to meet me at the door after I came back from a show and wanted to know, "What did you buy this time?"

Stack,

If you really want a very dangerous interest get into Thompson's, not only the guns but all of the possible collectibles that surround this extremely historical firearm.

Jack,

I have entirely too many expensive hobbies as it is - I need to become a minimalist somehow!.

It's funny you bring it up because I was eyeballing a faux Thompson the other day. I can just imagine all of the peripheral items that come along with owning one and bringing that era back to life.... I would end up re-decorating my basement to match the Thompson
