What I "Gabriel Au Buchon" was saying earlier is that apparently any given individual can say that you are running a muck with a weapon with out any conclusive proof & YOU WILL BE WRONG. Whether you did wrong or not.
Here is were I was really wrong. I got involved with a person with problems. Problems I won't mention because my intent is not to slander. It is to educate. I have discovered that to be a responsible firearms owner you must not run with the wrong people. You can do a lot of harm to somebody just by saying that they are being irresponsible with a firearm. Obviously no proof of crime is needed. The spoken words are enough. I suppose people are so terrified of each other that this is just the way it is. I know that for myself, if anything at all what so ever doesn't set well with me about what ever given person as far as "something just not right about them" I will for now on avoid them like the plague . My lesson learned is that you must be very careful of who you affiliate with. Especially if you have some high responsibilities, i.e. owner of 16 guns, gun dealer, or soldier. |

I think is sucks when anyone is arrested and the news media reports crap like, "And several firearms and two hundred and fifty rounds of ammunition were found as well."
So what? I can think of numerous people that own more then one gun, and the sensationalism of the news reporters to say whatever amount of ammunition like it's piles and piles and piles of bullets sitting in the living room or something. Years ago, when I was in high school, I bought a brick of 22 ammo for target practice. One thousand rounds, just to shoot at paper. The next day, I went to one of my leftist aunt's houses for dinner, and during dinner, she asked what I had done lately. I told her about the ammo purchase, and her ignorant, uninformed response was, "What do you need all of those bullets for? Are you trying to start a war?" So someone has 16 guns and ammo for them? What if they have 6 or 60? Who cares? The only thing that does is makes the news media's ratings go up.

You are right in saying that it is a he said she said, MTechnik. I worked at a gun store for $8.50 a hour. No way I could afford a trial. So wa wa wa, poor me & all that. I'm over it.
I am a good man. I would like to thank everybody that posted on this forum for not jumping to conclusions like others on other forums did by saying things like I should have been shot in the face. |

You too are very correct bigbear. I no longer watch the new or read the paper after seeing all of the inaccuracies put out about myself. The media is out of control. They are all about money. I suspect that our next freedom that will be attacked will be freedom of speech due to sickos abusing our constitutional right to it.

I went through a divorce a few years ago and was very worried that with one call she could have said i threatened her and my life as i know it would have been turned upside down. Good luck to you. |

Thank you Guns4Fun. After what I've been through my advice to any firearm owner is for that firearm owner that is heading toward divorce, break up, or that discovers that their partner is doing drugs or showing signs of mental impairment to go to a friend, family member, or gun dealer & see if they will take your guns, locks & safe for a bit. Yeah, it stinks to be defenseless. But it stinks worse to be in prison because someone called 911 out of spite & said you are Timothy McVeigh J.R.
Everyone should learn from this. I could have been reduced to a greasy silhouette. If you have lost trust for someone under your roof. Get your guns away from them. Then get them properly removed out of your life & get your guns back. Again, my lesson learned. Stay away from people you don't trust. "If you lay with dogs you will get up with fleas. So what happened? You get convicted of anything? Did they eventually find out she was a freak?

So you never held ANY type of weapon to her head? You never physically touched her? You never threatened anybody that night? You never acted in a way that could be considered unstable?
I wish Paul Harvey was here.
