Just wow.... I don't even know where to being describing my feeling on this. The first words that come to mind are those of Benjamin Franklin.

Quote:
They that can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety

Saw an article in todays paper saying DHS was contacted by a company trying to market the product. DHS looked into this idea several years ago to be used on "felons being transported to a different location". DHS says they are not looking to use this on law abiding citizens.

If you guys don't want to be tracked while traveling...I hope you don't own a GM vehicle with On-Star! Because it is already going on...and they can even kill your car from orbit on command! (Or open your door locks when you lock your keys in the ignition just to make it look good!)

What are we dogs to be herded? What in GOD'S NAME is going wrong in this country? How have we moved so far from freedom in such a short period of time and where the HELL are the patriots that SHOULD be fighting this tooth and nail!

Have we ALL become sniveling sheep that do whatever our masters tell us? Have we all forgotten that this country was based on rights and freedoms? Have we become so damned soft we are unable to stand up for the rights and freedoms our fathers, brothers, sister fought and died for? If so then this is NOT the America I know and love, this is not the country I would give my life to protect, this is a bad dream that I personally would have never thought could have happened in MY America!

Well said! I've found this spirit of freedom quite alive here in PA...may it long continue!

Exactly right and if you are dumb enough to put one on I want to be the guy holding the buzzer. I guarantee by the end of the flight you will seriously think twice about giving up your rights ever again. Not to mention using one on your dog!!

P.S. Bring extra undies you will need them, I would say about 4 extra pair sounds about right.

I think everyone needs to calm down for a moment and realize that not all info passed to you from an internet blog is credible. The TSA was looking into using these "bracelets" as a way to control suspects and prsioners being transfererd by means of air travel. No credible source has been able to prove that they were to be used on every commercial flight.

Take off your tin foil hat and stay awhile in the land of reality people.

Running Man was a movie that depicted criminals wearing neck collars that could be detonated.

The emoticon at the end of his "NAACP" statement suggests he was being sarcastic.
