How can this happen? Gun owners bend over and take it NJ.
If you don't scream bloody murder when the legislators try to take your rights away, by your silent consent, you agree to what they are enacting into law. |

years ago (80's) a friend of mine was pulled over on the ac expressway going to the bathroom, a cop pulled up and (long story short) searched his work van and found a bb pistol.... well, 30 days in jail... hes a plumber and used it to shoot rats in crawl spaces...

You gotta be kiddin' me....it's really that bad over there!? Wtf is wrong with those idiots who think this is a good idea? I didn't realize the extent of NJ "gun control" until this. Now I want to avoid Jersey like the plague just so I can avoid leaving any of my money behind. I'm all for debate over gun control and the enactment of sane laws but this one just scares me. Are our states really being run by people this stupid? (Mr. Emptymag....I promise not to say more.)

I know a guy that was sighting in a slug gun the week before deer season but didn't buy a hunting license yet, two cops were watching an talking about his gun and deer sason when a third cop feom the same dept. came into the gravel pit and arrested him, charged with possession w/o a license or permit which is a 4th degree felony in NJ.
In court he pled guilty and was fined $1000 with no jail tine, but he is now a convicted felon so his hunting is over for life plus any other restrictions for felony convictions. Also in NJ passession of even one 22lrhp is a 4th degree felony even if you don't have a gun with you. No bullets designed or intended to expand on impact are allowed unless you have a hunting license in possession and are on way to hunting place BY THE MOST DIRECT ROUTE. |

We got the hell out of Jersey in 1986 and thank god we did, I couldn't stand the state back then, these days I'd have my ass in jail on a weekly basis.
