Hmmm.

Perhaps the feds zoned in on the suspects last name of Kahle.

Sounds quite reminiscent of "Gordon Kahl"...

""Kahle said words to the effect of, that 'if Hillary Clinton, or Barack Obama, get elected, hopefully they will get assassinated, if not they will disarm the country and we will have a civil war,'" the affidavit stated."

Is simply saying this, illegal? I think not. Apparently the feds are hanging their hats on this as it's one of two quotes they released from this guy.
WTF is going on in this country?

It looks to me that they are going after people just because of what they "might" do one day. (excluding the felon with a firearm which would be illegal) Guilty before the crime I guess. I fear we will be seeing more and more of this going on. Another reason for everyone to watch what they say on this site. There ARE jackboots from the ATF, PSP, FBI and HLS reading this and other boards just waiting for someone to say something that they can come after you for. We already make the jackasses nervous because we are armed. Don't be foolish and give them a reason to think you would do something illegal.

Yeah it's just a damn shame. They're pissing all over our freedom of speech in order to violate the 2nd amendment so they have an excuse to rape the 4th amendment.
At least the assholes are thorough.

No sir. Another reason to keep saying what we say.

And be prepared to defend it and see to it that any who violate our rights and the Constitution are punished. In court, if possible.

THINKING we may do something illegal isn't grounds for a raid, and it really sounds like they had more than that in this case. One never knows, though, given ATF's history of gunning down women charged with no crime, butchering children, then committing perjury.

And, they should be nervous we are armed. ATF is a gang of thugs and tyrants. No honest person would join them, and they should have been disbanded years ago. Tyrants should always fear an armed populace. The fact that they do so makes me feel all warm and fuzzy.

I agree with what you are saying. I'm not saying to not talk about things. Just that people should watch how they say things. Personally I try to speak in generalities and the 3rd person or simply state facts. I don't want to give jackboots a reason to try and do their puppetshow in court on me. Only pussies settle things in court. Real men do it in the field.

Chances are if they had been, they'd also have been gagged from saying anything. Whether or not the folks on this forum realize it, we're under *very* heavy watch by State and Federal spooks.

Many people receive solicitations in the classified sections. I've had people with no real posts on the forum and from out of state ask me to mail them handguns directly. I'm not retarded. I know I was being baited. Everyone on here needs to understand we're all under very heavy scrutiny and to be careful of illegal sales baiting, etc.

ETA: Our FedGov is far more interested in informed firearm owners making use of modern technology than they are of any threat of foreign terrorists.
