What if a large group, not even necessarily from the area, composed entirely of citizens, who also happened to have LTCFs and were armed with video cameras as well as their legal pistol of choice, started patrolling city streets, would this be an issue?

What if that group, every time they saw drug dealers in action, or other crimes being committed, recorded it on their cameras and called the local police as well? Would they get in trouble with the police eventually, for merely being concerned citizens and reporting crime?

I'm not saying or advocating getting into any kind of confrontations with bad guys. Obviously, this would be avoided at all possible costs, unless absolutely necessary (watching an old lady getting mugged or something, I don't think anyone could stand by and watch that). Everything would be from a distance, with cameras and such.

lazy ass people that want everything handed to them in life... nuff said... they want the government to provide and the police to do everything... then the cops have no citizen backup when it's needed, like at that bank robbery... geez.. i wish i were there, i would have gotten shots off with my 40 cal and all three would be wounded badly and the cop would have been alive... the crooks expect the cops to have guns, but it's supprise them if a plain clothes citizen had one and they'd be thrown off guard and taken DOWN!

but no... most philadelphians don't care... so what the hell can we do? let the gangsters kill each other and hope their good people and cops (who are outnumbered by crooks and lazy people) can be safe?
