can anyone who may become arrested under these bogus laws sue the city after the courts say these new laws are not legal?

I'd like to see if these gunshops in the Philly area actually will abide by the one gun a month rule and ammo registration due to Pre-emption. I don't know much about the inner workings of a FFL dealer but I would think there isn't much Philly can do to them being there laws aren't even legal.

so what will end up happening is, all the gun shops move out of the city, and the city loses all the tax money that goes with it.

Phila. prob. would revoke their business license, obviously can't go after FFL but could make life miserable. Whose up for an OC lunch in Phila.????

The only one I can see that would be easy to violate to get a suit going would be the assault weapons one. We would just need a list of what is banned. I'm sure with this group we would have a few dozen of each one between us.

On a side note.....I really hate my job and wouldn't mind being the sacrificial lamb so to speak if we could somehow have a defense fund to pay for the lawyer and bail. After the lawsuit the winnings, after lawyer fees, could be distributed back to the donators based on the percentages that they donated......minus a small percentage for me since it was my butt on the line.... It would almost be like an investment when you think about it.
