Closed door Congressional meeting information leaked

Be sure to watch the C-SPAN videos (parts 1 and 2). At least there are a few congress men with reservations.

As others have said... this is scary stuff.

I can't say I would be surprised if everything mentioned comes to pass.

What I don't understand is how this meeting and the now leaked information is not on every channel all day long. It would seem slightly important to me.

After some thought and a little bit of investigating, I've decided that I can't bring myself to pass judgment about this story based upon one guy talking about it on some radio station. The guy seemed extremely biased and I'm going to do a little more investigation into who he is.

Questions:

1. Which congressman (or men) decided to leak information?
2. How does what they allegedly discussed relate to the FISA?
3. Is that guy on the radio really that credible? Does he have an agenda of his own?

From what I can tell, this is where he was getting the information. This is all I could find in the short searching that I did, and its not very conclusive.

Unless something more substantial comes out I will take this with a grain of salt.

Yea I found that story too. Seems a bit dubious (they mention "theorists" a lot).

It would seem that the people in the meeting are not allowed to talk about it without suffering reprocussions. This being the case the only way for any info to get out would be back door leakage which would be unverrifiable information. Basically unless a well known Representative comes out on live TV and says what happened carring not what action is takin against them we will never know with 100% confidence what was discussed.

I am however inclined to believe in the possibility of truth in what was said. It doesn't take an economics teacher to see this country is heading to hard times.

This really needs to be verified somehow, it could be tin foil hat stuff or it could be very real.

Personally I wouldn't be surprised at all but again, it needs to be verified
