I have Democrat friends who think that is the ONLY chance that Obama has to win. Look at the states he won in the primaries...his popularity is definitely overblown. If McCain chooses someone from the mountain states as a VP to prevent a Democratic breakthrough there, he waltzes in to the White House. Go to realclear.com and check out the state-by-state polls---it's McCain's election to lose. One last word: if you think McCain is too liberal, what do you think Obama is? The former is a conservative maverick who sometimes, sometimes, goes against his party--like real leaders are supposed to do--the other is a textbook liberal.

They have McCain loosing! Not that polls always seem to have republicans loosing even when they win by landslides!

Haven't seen a recent poll--not talking about Feb. or March when Obama was a novelty--that shows Obama winning in Ohio or Florida. Can't win enough electoral votes no matter what the national polls say now. Wait until the conventions are over...
