New to the site

I posted in the roll call thread (which was just closed...?) but figured i would make a quick introduction thread.

Names steve, I live in between Horsham and Montgomeryville. I don't have any guns yet, but I am looking!
I turn 21 in January, so I am going to apply for my LTCF and pick up a carry piece or two. Depending on how much money I make this summer, I should be picking up two handguns. I want a 9mm for CC, and a .45 for home/car. For the 9mm I am thinking either a SA XD, or an H&K P30. For the .45 I am looking at SA 1911's, not too sure what yet though. I figure I have to wait to turn 21 to go to a shop and handle some guns to see what I like.

Check for some info on this board before buying. You'll get pros and cons you never thought to ask but a lot of good information by some really knowledgable people.

Thanks for the warm welcome. I am right down the road from target world, so thats probably where I'll end up looking first. From what I've read on here (I've been reading for a few days before registering), Josh (forget the name of his store) up by Souderton has a nice business though. So I might have to take a drive up at some point.

greasy, i live right near you. I shoot at target world all the time. If you want to give a glock 19 and a springfield xd-45 a run send me a pm. I'll let you shoot mine---you just buy the factory ammo.
