Lyco area Group Shoot

I was wondering if anyone was interested in organizing a group shoot in Lycoming Cnty. I'm just starting the thread to see if there is any interest. I don't have any ranges in mind or dates so if you are interested please chime in. If there is enough interest we can try to find a neutral place to have it.

How is that range by you? Is it for us lowly civilians. I liked the idea of meeting there. Just a thought.

There is a CMP shoot at Consolidated Monday Night, 5/19. Also, IDPA is at Muncy this weekend, 5/17.

I would be down for it. But I am not a fan of going to large ranges with lots of people around. I guess I just don't trust them. Small group shoots are fine. But Consolidated and Muncy just scare me when there are a lot of people there. Eh, just me.

Anyway, yes, I would be down for it. Scott (bacher2741), is the range near you easily accessible? Is that an option? If not, maybe meet up Pine Creek?

What is everyone's thoughts on a date? My weekends are usually pretty packed. So there is no guarantee that I can make a weekend shoot. But I will try my best!

Sundays are good for me and a day in the week works. When I say a day in the week, if I know a week or two in advance it can be pretty much anyday.

Opinions on the best time of day?

I work 3rd shift so as long as its in the afternoon and Im not heading out of town, any Sunday works.

Well it seems as though we have a few interested. We should probably try to find a place to shoot first and then pick a time. I pretty much work 7:30-3:30p m-f with occasional overtime. I can get around the ot if I know in advance. As far as a place to shoot Zeff 66 said something about pine creek I am not familiar with that range so I cant really comment I have shot at consolidated and at Keystone but not sure about getting everyone in. Maybe private property ie.. hunting camp or multi acre property with a back stop might work. Lets here some other opinions,

This is pretty much one of those "if you plan it, they will come" things. Depending on date/time I'd probably come up. I work every other Saturday, and have matches I shoot most Sundays, though. So, it's really one of those deals where if the date works for me, I'll come, if not I'll try and make the next one.
