Default A fallen hero from two towns

I have been apprehensive to post this thread. I have been thinking about it for a few weeks now. Who would think that Mckean and Luzerne counties may share a common bond. Your county laid to rest a local hero from our town recently.
Lieutenant Colonel Berrettini lived in Eldred pa (about 10 minutes from me) and was the school nurse at Port Allegany HS where I now live. As some may know he succumbed to his wounds from a roadside bomb while serving in Afghanistan.
I didn't know the man, but I can't hardly go anywhere in a small town of 2,000 without seeing the banners and memorials. It makes me emotional to just drive past them. Here are a couple links and please keep his family in your thoughts. He is a true hero.
