Default Sign off ????????

Has anyone had any problems getting a signature for a suppressor in Luzerne county? I'm thinking of getting one and want to know if I'm going to run into any problems.

Thanks

Stankus will not sign off unless he knows you or your LEO.

He is under the incorrect assumption that his sign off is some sort of character reference. He has been told that the sign off is exactly what it says on the form, verification that there are no local laws prohibiting ownership of the item.

But Stankus knows everything

Sovokinas takes office in January 08. Wait until then or else go to your town police chief.

Hello Hugo 16,
I have posted before about my experience with Stankus. He will not sign.
And this was for a suppressor for my legal M11.
I did meet the new Sheriff, before he was elected, he said he would sign, and I am waiting for him to be sworn in.
I will post experience what happens when I go to get a signature.

Savokinas will be setting up a routine process for NFA paperwork once he gets in and setup. I will see if we can get them to do the fingerprints as an added bonus.

ADVANCED ARMS is going NFA / SOT July 1 2008, if not sooner. The SOT tax year does not start until July 1, hence the delay.

Suppressor - will be stocked and available for special order
SBRs - a few will be stocked and more will be available for special order
SBSs - May stock one more will be available for special order
FAs - Depend on availablity
Transfers - Definitely

I believe it is in the next couple days.....

I am sure it will take him some time to get everything up and running.

I am sure it will be quite busy over there.

I know he put some emphasis on the LTCF permits....so he he gets that up in running for folks as soon as possible.

I have extended an offer to help the department in regards to NFA / LTCF processes.
