the weather is getting crappy but we should get together to shoot before it gets any worse.

I'm not a hunter (though i am hoping to do woodchuck next year)
freezing my but off for hours in the cold dosent really appeal to me

But we should all get together for a good time.

I'm game. Where and when? Deep you are close to me and shoot in may of the same areas so it should be relatively easy for us work something out. Who else wants to play!!???

Well, I hope to get out this weekend, probably Friday, due to crappy weather forecast for Saturday.

I want to make sure my hunting rifles and handguns are sighted in before the big rush. Might bring a couple of my C&R rifles out too. Not sure if I'll have time for some handgun.

Throw some dates out, mention a few places and we'll see who bites.

I'm pretty open. I'm off the next 2 days but i am havingsome medical issues. I dont have a problem jut hitting a wooded area to avoid the game comission ranges.

Nah, gotta work on Sunday.

I hit the SGL range on Friday. No one was at the rifle range and only three people were at the handgun range.

I got to sight in my hunting .30/06 and checked to see if my 1903A3 and K98 were still sighted in as well. I'm very inclinded to be using one of the old milsurps on the opening day of deer season this year.

Well boys and girls, this weekend will be a bit chilly but otherwise OK weather. Any takers for shooting this weekend? Deer season sight in folks will soon occupy every shooting spot imaginable.

Nope, working then have some honey-do's that need to get done. Was out yesterday with my son who is in from college. We were up on the range at SGL #127 in the afternoon. Couple of other guys were there, not crowded at all. A tad bit chilly though. We were shooting my M1 Garand and Bushmaster M4.

A note if you are coming in from the Thornhurst side. Don't try it with a car. There were some trees knocked down probably from the last storm and the road is a bit rough. There were some improvised paths through the trees near the stream. No problems for a truck, or in my case a Jeep Grand Cherokee, but a car will probably bottom out or get stuck in a few muddy places. We went out the other way towards Gouldsboro and that way is okay.

If you posted a bit earlier I could have swung it. I actually went out twice today; early AM and again late afternoon. All the shooting spots are going to start getting busy with deer season sight ins.
