Default Care packages for troops overseas

Inspired by shefearsnothing, I'm wondering if we could organize a group effort to get some care packages to those serving overseas. Please respond to the poll if you would participate.

If you voted for option #3, could you please mention what item you can provide?

I would think the best way to do this would be to get a list of items normally asked for (don't ask me where to get that) and then let people choose what they can get and or ship.

List of possible items.

As far as the third option, an example would be if you work for Colgate-Palmolive, and can get a case of travel-size toothpaste for pennies (or nothing). I've got a possible source for literally dozens of current magazine titles ABSOLUTELY FREE. I've sent an e-mail to see if this is still a viable option.

Well we are pretty well set up to ship on a regular basis here (we do a lot of it) ... I was thinking a couple of "goodie" boxes with mixed type stuff, some fun some food and some practical items. If anyone in my area wants to throw some stuff in with what we will put together we would be more than happy to ship them out.
