Laurel Highlands Job Market?
I'm hoping maybe some of y'all that we've met at the PGH Group Shoots can help us out a bit.
Petra has been underemployed for the year and half she's been in PA and it's starting to really hurt us financially. We haven't been finding anything in the Johnstown area and need to expand the search westward into Westmoreland Co (and surrounding counties) to around a 1 hr commute time from Central City. She has her BS in Microbiology and was working as a Cytogenetic Tech in VA. We've checked into hospital labs but they seem to only want certified MedTechs. Anyone have any leads on Biotech firms or other lab type jobs we can look into? Many thanks! Bill and Petra PS, I'm sure Petra would be glad to provide cookies or other baked goods to anyone that helps her land a good job!
