Default Weekend Range trips
Hey guys,
Just wanted to let you all know that me and Dwhite are pretty actively shooting during the nice wether season. We are trying to get together every weekend or every other weekend to get a small group of friends together to go to the elverson state game land range. Right now neither of us are active members of a club and we have been using this range because it's free. If anyone is interested in going along with us sometime, let myself or Dwhite know and we will inform you of all that you need to know. Thanks guys.

Yes french creek as most of you will know it by. I dont know why but I can never remember the name of that place, except for the elverson state game range. But yes, french creek is the range. Sorry about the mixup.

So do we have any takers yet? Anyone interested?

I've been to SGL#43 exactly once on a weekend. I'll never go again. It's not safe. Too many yahoos shotting across 4 lanes at the 25 yard targets. sweeping guns across people and half the people not following the range rules.

i agree - that's why i'm joining a private range - i remember the one time i was up there and all these kids who where barely out of diapers pull up and unload enough assault weapons to take n. korea and just start waving them around like they were toys. (i wouldn't even treat an unloaded airsoft like they were treating those guns). i did get a kick out of it when one of the other guys there (he looked like he was military) yelled something to one of the kids along the lines of "hey john wayne - put the gun down!" lol. funny but scary.........
