how many people on the forum from Lancaster county? wanna hear from everyone so i have an idea of who's around my area. if you're a lurker, sign up and comment......... we should have a group shoot or a get together sometime...........(when it warms up)

also state if you're a member to a range in the area and which one - that we'll know if we already go to the same ranges.

i like it alot. the three seperate rifle ranges are awesome and like that they have steel and paper to shoot at the handgun range. the association is really into shotgun sports. really nice area it's in though and the membership is only 20.00 for the first year and 15.00 renewals.......they have a nice little archery set up too with a mock tree stand and about 20 animal targets........

Millport (near Rothsville)

Not a member of any club in the area - I shoot at some of the state ranges or, when I go up to Cabellas, the Burma Road public range near St Clair. I can also shoot handgun on my property, though I don't do it much since my one dog goes a bit crazy at the sound of gunfire.

Does anyone know anything about the club off 772 just before you cross the Cocalico bridge as you head toward 272? I recently noticed it from Cocalico Creek Road.

I'm in Manheim,shoot at Palmyra. Well,I TRY to shoot at Palmya but working full time on the weekends and nursing school is kinda putting a crimp in my shooting life.

I have discovered that you can use reloading as a study break in between chapters-lots of stuff around to shoot, just need to get there!!

The club that you are referring to is called Coopers Hill Sportsman's. I don't know a lot about them, all I know is that they are a small club and only allow 100 members, so there is a waiting list to get it, I know this because my dad is on the waiting list. I think all he did was keep calling there listed number until he got a answer and then went down and talked with someone who told it could be a year or two till a spot opens up for him. I would like tom get on the waiting on list seeing that I live in Rothsville, but I can never get a hold of anyone at the club. Hope this helps.
