Hey guys does anybody know if you can get your carry permit in Lackawanna county on a sataurday. This is in referense for a friend. I know you mush go to the scrantom courthouse..I have been through the whole process but my friend can only go on sat.

most likely no. it's a weekend, the government doesn't work.

...oh and it's a LTCF, no such thing as a concealed permit in this state

I just called to renew and they don,t do it on weekends and only certain days during the week. Call before you go. P.S. Bring cash. No checks or plactic.

Just an aside, the application says social security number is optional, but if you don't put it down it means they will only mail the permit to you. Put it down and you will walk out with it. Just had mine renewed and had to watch and listen to an argument over the matter that made me have to wait an additional half hour to be taken care of. The sheriff himself was there but refused to get involved to settle the issue, just walked away.
