I Just gotta like that guy, never miss one of his shows, sometimes he just has a hellava Time. I am anxious to try that skinning method , wont be long now.

yeah that happens sometimes...best bet if you want to squirrel hunt with a shotgun is to go with a modified choke with the lightest load i can find...like 7/8 oz and use a larger size shot like 4 or 5. ive never hunted squirrel with a my 12 gauge, only my 20..but if you have something smaller like a 20 or 28, or .410 those all work well...but use a slightly heavier load. personally i prefer 1oz of 4 shot in my 20 gauge...usually the remington express loads. sometimes i use winchester x loads too..but they arent "hi-brass" loads...so it limits my range. but ive cleanly shot squirrel up to 30 yards with those hi-brass. as for .22s ive been using one too since 2001, before that i was more about the shotgun. ive got a remington 572 bdl fieldmaster ? i cant remember..but its a pump, and ive always used a scope. some people like the challenge of not using one. my youngest brother wants to start shooting and i told him to get a .17HM2, i just hope im not leading him astray lol.
