Hunting season almost here!
When August arrives my mind begins to switch into hunting mode. It seams once I put in for my anterless tags bow season reaches around and slaps me in the face.

It's weird in WMU 5D and 5C our early archery season starts Sept.15 one week after my Outer banks vacation. It's going to be odd going from the beach to the woods. It will probably still be real hot too

The rest of the state: The commission begins accepting from residents Aug 6(this Monday) non res Aug 20 then res and non res for unsold tags Aug 27 and again on Sept 10. Then you could always try the DMAP thing. Best check the commissions web sight for that. It's straight forward. http://www.pgc.state.pa.us/

I hate hunting in the heat. I usually won't hunt or just in the am. It really ticked me off when the commission switched the season from the 1st Sat in Oct. to the last Sat in Sept.
