Default ODDEST SHOT EVER!!

Went out at 5:00 stayed till 10. Went to see if my dad hit his, nope. Shot at the house a couple times just in case. Then, at 4:15 i sat down in the climber, put on my gloves and facenet, knocked an arrow looked up. There’s a doe that probly would've scored a 130 on the Betty Crocker scale, stood up, drew back. And at 25yds let it fly on a strong 1/4ing to. . WHACK! She jumped up kicked with her back legs and ran out the path hooked a left then I lost sight of her this was at 4:16pm. At 6 I left my tree to check for blood, there was none no hair either and no arrow. What the hell. Looked for 2hours. Nothing. On Sunday I got a txt saying that my uncle found my arrow……………………. With a squirrel on it. Apparently I missed the doe and plugged the little bugger. Which is odd because I said in the morning I would be back to get him on the 18th.

Has anyone else ever had an odd shot like that??

This is the strangest thing ive ever heard of and done. it looks like it'll be on hell of a year. If only I had a cameraman for the three of us. last night i had to get my dad out of his tree. the botttom part of his climber fell and he sat on the top part for about an hour and a half.. ha it would be the only comedy on the outdoor channel!!

I have had this happen to me, but unfortunately for myself I was in the process of climbing down at the time....so I got to just hang there for a second to get my wits about me again. Then I hugged the tree and got down....was very fun!

Congrats on the squirrel shot! I hate the little buggers. Lord knows how many times I've been tempted to let one fly after a squirrel!

Great story
You might not want to take those 1/4 to shots they usually turn out with a wounded deer. I would of waited to get a good broadside shot.
