Good luck to all you guys! Archery came in 2 weeks ago in South Jersey, but I was only able to hunt the first week, and it was warm and a full moon! Saw some, had them all around but couldn't get any shots due to all the trees.

I'm totally jealous.
With my broken collarbone I didn't get enough practice to feel comfortable shooting at a living thing. I'd get the bow out, draw, *OUCH* OK, back in the case. Next year. It's just the boomstick this year.

My buddy Dan got his 1st buck this morning on the opening day of Antlered Archery Season. It was only a 5pt but it's leagal and his 1st. Gotta start somewhere.

Congrats, that's a nice little buck.
I had two doe in bow range at 7:30 but the brush was too thick. By the time the shot was clear it was 25 yards and I am not comfortable this year at that range with my recurve. If I had a compound I would have filled a tag  .
