Yes, I do hunt squirrels with a dog. My buddies laughed at me at first at camp and thought I was crazy. She is an Australian Shepard / Spaniel mix that I got from the humane society. She can spot a tree rat 50 yards or more ahead of us, and immediately takes off after it...and trees it. She stays there and yelps until I get there. If the squirrel moves trees, so does she. I didn't exactly train her to do this, she just started doing it on her own while on walks in the woods.

I don't, but my cousin has a little terrier named Tippy that will tree them and move them around to you for a shot. He didnt train his either...the dog just does it. It works great and is funny to see this little dog "work".
