Doe tag Mix up!

Just wondering if anyone has done this in the past. I filled out both of the doe tags that I had and then sent my first round in the Fri before, like always. I went to the mail Sat morning and saw that little yellow envolope and got exited, like always. I opened the envolope and saw my check "WTF over". Then with it was my app and a little white piece of paper stating that they were not excepting 2nd rounds yet. My dumb ass sent the wrong envolope in. At least there are a shit load of tags left in my WMU but this still pissed me off. I know I am not be the only one who has done this.....or am I? -BB

That does suck but as long as tags are available, it's just another envelope and a couple stamps.

I did the same thing 4yrs ago. I was really pissed. I always fill everything out ahead of time. After that happened to me I fill them out as required.

Nope, can't say that I've ever done that. That's why I always fill out one app at a time. When its gone, then I fill out the unsold app and let it sit until the proper time.

I put mine in the mailbox on Saturday but the mailman didn't take it. The little red flag on my box is loose and sometimes doesn't stay up. And the mailman being the genius that he is won't take anything unless the flag is up. So, I pick up the mail Sat afternoon and there is my app, still there. I had to make a special run up to the post office on Sunday to drop the app in the box that sits right out in front of the place. Problem with that is, they don't pick up the mail from that box until 2:00 pm. So I doubt my app will go out until Tuesday. However like your WMU, the area I want to hunt has about 29,000 or so left, so there is still a good chance I'll get one.
