Groundhog and crow are in now.
Actually, scratch that answer. Groundhogs and crows are not considered small game so there is no small game season in right now.

You CAN hunt coyotes on Sundays.
You CANNOT hunt groundhogs on Sundays. You can hunt crows ONLY on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.

The reason I buy mine when they first come out is so I know I have it for deer season I do not want to wait til it's too late and miss out! And for one other reason which has been handed down to me but I'll keep that part to myself.

This is the first year in longer than I can remember that I haven't bought my license yet. I usually get them as soon as they are for sale. I didn't get to hunt last year due to having back surgery in August. So I kind of lost my passion. I have been going to Ohio and helping a friend prepare some property he bought over there for hunting so hopefully that gets me excited again.
